About the Role The Customer Lending Representative (CLR) is an entry-level opportunity designed for motivated individuals looking to build a long-term career in the mortgage industry. Through hands-on training, one-on-one mentorship from experienced Mortgage Loan Officers, and a clearly defined career path, you'll develop the skills and knowledge needed to grow into a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys helping people, has strong customer service skills, and is willing to work hard to build a successful career. No mortgage experience is required—we invest in training the right people. As a CLR, you'll play a crucial role in assisting clients throughout the beginning stages of the loan process while gaining valuable industry experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to connect with prospective borrowers Follow a structured call script to understand borrower goals and determine eligibility Ask qualifying questions to identify high-intent prospects for mortgage purchase or refinance needs Build rapport with potential borrowers to establish trust and professionalism Schedule appointments and transfer qualified prospects to licensed Loan Officers in real time Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely notes within CRM systems Required Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent customer service mindset with a passion for helping others Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn Strong work ethic and desire to build a long-term career in sales and mortgage lending Preferred Skills Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, call center, banking, or sales experience Experience working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment Familiarity with loan processing software is a plus but not required Equal Opportunity Statement We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
