AssemblerThe Assembler will engage in various tasks across multiple assembly lines, including fingertip, hand-held, tabletop, kit build, and regional. This role requires performing tap soldering and snap assembly of medical devices, following detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures, and complying with policies and regulatory requirements. Assemblers will also complete administrative tasks related to business or regulatory needs and maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.ResponsibilitiesPerform tap soldering and snap assembly of medical devices.Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.Complete all administrative functions relating to business or regulatory needs.Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to management.Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.Occasionally perform assembly on other assembly lines as needed.Essential SkillsAbility to solder under a magnifying glass on small parts.Experience in medical device assembly and soldering.High attention to detail.Experience in electronic assembly.Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.Good written and oral communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 year of soldering, medical, or electronic assembly experience.Medical device manufacturing experience.Ability to frequently sit, stand, reach within hands and arm's length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision.Why Work Here?Enjoy quarterly events, summer cookouts, and a week of activities for employee appreciation day. Assemblers rotate on the manufacturing line, working across 4-6 stations. The role is based in a clean room environment during 1st shift hours, from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Employees are allowed to wear one headphone while working.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
